CT Hone, Inc. horizontally honed this 4130 steel sleeve, measuring 147” in lenght, with an O.D. of 3.500’. The finished I.D was 2.750” with 0.025” / .030” of stock removed, and had a material microfinish of 63.
Utilizing our long / horizontal honing equipment, as well as Sunnen tooling, we easily met the required tolerances of +/- .001”. We relied on the customer supplied operation sheet and 2D CAD drawing to ensure the sleeve met customer specifications.
